By using this website and our membership or donation services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Use of the site

You agree to use this site lawfully and not to disrupt or misuse it or attempt to access areas you are not authorized to use.

Membership & automatic renewal

• Memberships are offered in the tiers described on our membership page. By joining, you authorize IslandView Association (through Stripe) to charge your payment method for the selected tier.
• Memberships renew automatically (monthly or annually depending on the tier) until you cancel. You may cancel at any time to stop future renewals; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fees may change with reasonable advance notice.

Donations

Donations are voluntary. IslandView Association operates as a fiscally sponsored project of Community First Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so eligible donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. See our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refunds.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Independence disclaimer

The IslandView Association is an independent organization, not affiliated with any city department, municipal agency, land bank, or commercial development firm.

No warranties & limitation of liability

This site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IslandView Association is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision.
